The "Komonken" members go to a summer camp to "Aobe village" besides the Ohi river in Shizuoka prefecture, Japan, every summer for 6 days. It's been going on for more than 30 years, 150-200 participants every year!

Mutsuji Shinohara have met handicapped child and their family as a clinical psychology and expert of handicapped education, then establish "Komonken" in the spring of 1972, wish for "all children go to a local school" and "ｌive together, grow together".
He stand up against the institutionalization, selection, separation, and management of handicapped. It is included medical examination for 3 years-old child, Newborn Screening Tests, mandatory of school for disabled children, problem for going on the high school, find job, care or attendant, and so on. He keep working such as "summer camp in AOBE", to find the way of "live together"
